Marketing Coordinator

Reporting to: KO General Manager                                                                             Status: Full-time – 45 hours

The primary objective of the store Marketing Coordinator is to maintain customer satisfaction and develop sales volume by preparing and implementing marketing strategies; increase foot traffic in the store and on the web, and develop community awareness and relationships; assigning short and long-term objectives; staying engaged online and on social media, and resolving product and service problems.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop a general marketing and advertising plan to build a local and national brand by establishing objectives, action plans and schedules
  • Achieve financial objectives by preparing and managing an annual marketing and advertising budget
  • Work with the general manager and sales manager on creating sales promotions, events and in-store displays
  • Coordinate online marketing and SEO campaigns with third-party marketing agency
  • Produce on-time delivery of materials by proficiently operating graphics software and corresponding relevant sources
  • Evaluate and redirect marketing and advertising campaigns by studying and analyzing sales results, industry trends, demographics, customer satisfaction surveys, competitor trends, and other market research information
  • Promote store by developing partnerships and participating in community programs and organization events
  • Create, define, and maintain Kinsey’s Outdoors social media presence while staying consistently engaged with customers
  • Monitor customer satisfaction feedback in-store and online
  • Work with Ecommerce sales team on marketing online promotions
  • Maintain and build on customer contact database
  • Manage Kinsey’s Outdoors pro-staff team with regard to broadening brand awareness, aiding in community engagement and content creation
  • Produce print and digital pieces in accordance with established brand guidelines: store signage, flyers, billboards, trade show assets, emails, social media, web graphics, videos, etc.
