System Administrator

The ideal candidate will keep Kinsey’s network running smoothly and efficiently. The Desktop Administrator would work on help desk tickets, network support and administration, and troubleshooting issues for end users at Kinsey’s. Understanding the importance of integrity, teamwork, and excellence will allow for a good fit for the candidate and Kinsey’s.  Also, having an internal customer focus is an expectation of this individual.


Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Configuring new users and workstations
  • Troubleshooting issues with Microsoft Dynamic NAV / Business Central system
  • Training users on new software
  • Assisting in server and network maintenance
  • Provide support to System Administrator
  • Liaison between employees and external resources for projects and services
  • Asset management which includes inventory, supply and delivery
  • Occasional weekend support may be needed

Position Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Computer Science or 3 years of experience with help desk or related functions.
  • Windows server 12/16/19 and Windows 7/10 desktop experience
  • Windows Active Directory experience
  • PowerShell scripting experience
  • SQL Server experience
  • Hyper V virtualization
  • Microsoft Office 365
  • WDS experience

Bonus Skill Set

  • Understanding of Mac Desktops
  • Microsoft Dynamic NAV / Business Central experience
  • Networking+ or similar certifications
  • API Functionality
  • PHP/Visual Basic .Net
  • Linux Server (CentOS/Debian)
  • VOIP/SIP experience
  • Experience working with Retail or Distribution environments
