Firearms Sales Associate

The primary objective of a Sales Associate is to serve customers by selling products and meeting customer needs.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Help customers by providing information; answering questions; obtaining merchandise requested; completing payment transactions
  • Drive sales through engagement of customer suggested selling and sharing product knowledge.
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; following up to ensure resolution; making recommendations to management
  • Identify customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements
  • Maintain knowledge of products and services by reading specification updates; attending information meetings; referring questions to supervisor
  • Maintain inventory including receiving, stocking and pricing merchandise
  • Maintain store appearance by creating a clean, orderly, and safe shopping environment
  • Provide general support to the store, e.g. help customers by providing information; answering questions/phone calls; merchandising; completing payment transactions; covering shifts in customer service as needed
  • The ability to excel in a team environment
