Kinsey’s Rocks 15th Annual Dealer Show

April 11th, 2017

Offers Best Prices of the Year and Great Entertainment

The annual Kinsey’s Dealer Show (KDS17) was held March 2 – 4 at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center in Hershey, PA and was again a great success. 2017 marked the 15th Dealer Show, including the 15th Dealer Appreciation Night Concert, featuring Country Music Hall of Fame Artist Travis Tritt. In addition to giving dealers the best prices of the year on products and flexible payment plans, the Kinsey’s Dealer Show offers workshops and networking opportunities that aid in growing dealers’ businesses. Dealers were also able to take advantage of the KDS E-Show electronic ordering system, now in its third year. This interface allows dealers at the physical show to place orders at their convenience, as well as remotely cash in on some of the show specials if they couldn’t make it to Hershey. But the best pricing and most important relationship-building opportunities were still found by attending the show in person.

Vendors and manufacturers also found the show to be rewarding and profitable to their business. “As usual Gold Tip had a successful and enjoyable show again this year,” said Preston Edwards, Gold Tip’s national accounts manager for archery. “The Kinsey’s Dealer Show gives us a great opportunity to highlight our products, interface with and get to know our customers, and also show our appreciation to the dealers for their continued support of Gold Tip, Bee Stinger, Primos and Bushnell products.”

“We’ve always enjoyed our partnership with Kinsey’s and their customer base,” said Brian Malone, vice president, regional sales for Pradco. “The show is always run professionally and there is a huge feeling of appreciation conveyed to both their dealers and their vendor partners. Kinsey’s has continued to stay up with technology and their order entry system makes writing orders with a customer both easy and professional.”

“Of the shows I manage for our company this is one of my favorite hunting/archery shows,” said Plano Synergy Eastern Regional Account Manager, Jennifer Toepper.

“The Kinsey’s Dealer Show is a great place for us to get 1-on-1 with dealers and get feedback on our products as well as show and educate them on our new products, said Feradyne Vice President of Sales National Accounts Chris James. “This ultimately leads to more sales for retailers, Kinsey’s and FeraDyne!”

“What a terrific event and well worth the investment of our resources to continue our tremendous growth with the Kinsey’s organization,” said Mark McBride, regional sales manager for Scent Crusher. “Kinsey’s is a terrific business partner, and this event allows us to participate personally at the dealer level that otherwise would not be logistically possible.”

Between entertainment options and special sale events, dealers also find the show to be educational and profitable. “The best part of the show is just talking to the reps,” said Mallia Evans, Brady & Cavany Ace Hardware. “People that really know what they’re talking about. They’ve helped me out and gone out of their way to give me some knowledge that I didn’t have, and I understand different products more than when I got to the show.”

“My favorite part of the show was I got to go see a couple bows I’ve been wanting to check out for a while, and it’s all in one place,” said Russell Boronow of Silver Birch Archery. “What’s nice about Kinsey’s is I definitely get better prices, and [with no minimum orders] I don’t have to carry a huge overhead. I can put out just enough to have what I need on the shelf, it looks full, it looks great, and I can order it and have it fast from Kinsey’s.”

The 16th annual Kinsey’s Dealer Show will be hosted at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center in Hershey, PA from March 2 – 4, 2018. Registration for the show will open in late October at KinseysDealerShow.com.
