Founded in 1952, Kinsey’s is headquartered in Mount Joy, Pennsylvania with a second warehouse in Louisville, Kentucky.  Kinsey’s Inc is committed to continuing to build a distribution company based on heritage and honoring our roots but equally not resting on prior success. Vernon Kinsey’s Legacy

Helen and Vernon Kinsey begin serving the outdoor industry by making high-quality, hand-crafted arrows out of their home in Mount Joy, PA. Kinsey’s Arrow Manufacturing is born.

1952
Kinsey’s Arrow Manufacturing

Kinsey’s Arrow Manufacturing is born. Vernon and Helen commit to running Kinsey’s full time.

1957
2nd Generation Enters Business

Jim Kinsey enters the business and begins distributing arrows to retailers throughout the Northeast. The company begins manufacturing arrows for Colt and Bear Archery.

1960
1st Expansion

Kinsey’s expands, moving its retail, distribution and arrow manufacturing business to 411 West Main Street, Mount Joy, PA.

1973
2nd Expansion

Kinsey’s expands once again, moving all operations to 300 West Main Street, Mount Joy, PA.

1982
3rd Generation – Rick Enters

Rick Kinsey enters the business, going on to become VP of Sales.

1984
3rd Generation – Sherri Enters

Sherri Kinsey Gorman enters the business going on to become VP of Operations and Administration.

1986
3rd Expansion

Kinsey’s expands, moving its retail, distribution and arrow manufacturing to 1660 Steel Way Drive, Mount Joy, PA.

1999
Established Retail Operations

Kinsey’s grows retail operations, building the new four-season Kinsey’s Outdoors store located at 1658 Steel Way, Mount Joy, PA.

2003
First Annual Dealer Show

Kinsey’s hosts its first annual dealer show, gathering the top manufacturers and dealers in the industry for a weekend in Hershey, PA.
